What we store
Our People stores the names, relationships, and photos you add for the people in your family's library, the first name of each family member (so everyone can tell who's who), and an anonymous identifier for each phone that's part of the family. There are no accounts, no passwords, and no email addresses collected by the app.
Where it's stored
Your family's library is stored on Google Firebase, on our behalf, in the United States. It's kept only so it can be shown to your family — that's the sole purpose it's used for.
Who can see it
Only the members of your family — the people who joined using your invite link or code — can see your library. Keenan, as the person who runs Our People, can technically access the database behind the app, but commits not to, except to resolve a support request you've sent.
What we never do
We never sell your data or show ads, and the app never runs analytics or tracks you across other apps or websites. The app uses Google's Firebase SDK to store and sync your family's library — that's the only third-party code in it. It contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
This website
This website — not the app — uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets a cookie and records things like the pages you view, the site you came from, and your approximate location. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland it sets no cookies. Its advertising features are turned off. Invite-link pages are never measured, so your family's code is not sent to Google. None of this is connected to your family's library. You can opt out with Google's opt-out add-on.
Paying for Unlimited
Our People Unlimited is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app one thing only: whether this Apple ID owns it. We never see your card, your billing address, or your Apple ID, and the app stores no payment data of any kind.
Deleting your data
Leave the family (Settings → Family → Leave this family) to remove your phone and stop seeing its people. To have a family's data deleted outright, email support and we'll take care of it.
Children
Our People is not directed at children and is not knowingly used to collect information from children.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
